Send Bp Comms to patients
You can send the following communication types to patients using the new Bp Comms functions in Indigo Service Pack 1:
- Send clinical reminders
- Send clinical communications
- Send Bp Comms appointment reminders
- Send health awareness communications
Prior to Indigo Service Pack 1, you could only sent appointment reminders by SMS. However, Bp Comms allows you to send any of the above communication types by SMS.
The process for sending out Bp Comms messages is very similar for all types: generate a list of patients to message using applicable criteria, then select the communication method to use, such as SMS or printed letter.
