Within the Client Record, click Delete to delete a Client Record from the database. Deletion marks the client as deleted in the Bp Allied interface but does not actually remove the data from the database. The deletion is recorded in the Audit Log to stay intact and have a full record of all actions as they relate to a client.
However, if a Client has any of the following items associated, the associated record will be permanently deleted and cannot be reversed:
- Appointments – past and future
- Consultation information
- Client History
- Reminders
- Referrals
- Tasks
- Waiting List entries
- Documents and contacts
If a client has any Invoices, the client can’t be deleted and the option disabled. This includes invoices that have been deleted or voided.
If the Delete button is grey, the logged in user does not have permission to delete the client record.
If you do not wish to view a client in lists, you can mark the client Inactive from the main screen of the Client Details area. Marking as inactive will hide them from the Client Lists and Client Search unless the Include inactive Clients in Client List checkbox is turned on in Options > Client Details.
