Commencing on 1 September 2023, providers were able to prescribe 60-day prescriptions for many patients living with an ongoing health condition who are stable on their current treatment. From 1 September 2024, additional Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) medicines are now available for 60-day prescriptions.
