Clients toolbar


These are actions that can be carried out on a open Client record.

Client Selector

1. Client Selector  Select the Client Record you wish to view using the drop down arrow
 
Or
 
  • Highlight and delete the name in the field (if there is one)
  • Start typing in the name of the client
  • The drop down list will display with the matching client names
  • Select the client required

Go

2. Go
Click Go to update the open the Client Record
 
For example, you've opened a client to add a referral but then realise that you need to add the Referrer. So then you open Data Maintenance and add the Referrer. But, to be able to see the new referrers details in the Clients record you need to Click Go.
 
Why?
Because this reloads the information in the drop down lists. It has to do this to be able to pick up the new referrers information so you can add the referral.

Save

        3. Save
Click Save to Save any changes made to the Client Record. Once a client has been saved the time of the Last Save is recorded.

New Client

4. New Client
Click New Client to add a New Client.

Spell Check

5. Spell Check
Click Spell Check to check the current open screen for spelling errors.

Spell check as you type

6. Spell check as you type     
If this is ticked, then any potential spelling errors as highlighted as information is typed in.

Audit Log

7. Audit Log
Click Audit Log to open the Audit Log window.
This details the actions carried out against the current client within the time frame selected and by whom.

Customise

Click Customise to begin customising the Client Details area of myPractice.

Letters

9. Letters
Click the down arrow on the Letters toolbar select a Letter Template to merge with the selected client.

Delete

10. Delete
Click Delete to Delete a Client Record from the database.  Please note that this action is permanent, if you do not wish to delete the client you can choose to mark them "Inactive" from the main screen of the Client Details area.  Users with Reception permissions set are unable to delete a client record.
