How do I find out what Referrals are due to expire?
As there is no expiry reminder for Referrals that have a specific duration rather than a specified number of visits these referrals need to be managed manually. This can be managed by using the Referral Report available from the Reports Section of myPractice. This is done by searching for the dates when referrals were entered and reviewing their duration. These could be done on a monthly basis, for example if most of your Practices referrals last for 12 months then, in October, look at the referrals dated the previous November to see what needs to be renewed.
