View immunisations in My Health Record

This article explains how to view immunisation information for a patient that has been uploaded to My Health Record via the Australian Immunisation Register.

To view immunisations in My Health Record, you must have My Health Record correctly configured at your practice. See Configure Bp Premier for My Health Record for more information.

View immunisation information

All immunisation information available in My Health Record can be viewed via the Immunisation Consolidated View. The Immunisation Consolidated View draws immunisation information from the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR), Shared Health Summaries and Event summaries, to provide a snapshot of all immunisation information for a patient in one place.

Access the Immunisation consolidated view

1. From the patient's clinical record, select My Health Record > View Document List, or click the My Health Record button. The Document List will appear.
2. Double-click Immunisation Consolidated View. The Immunisation Consolidated View will open.

Four navigation panels will display at the top of the Immunisation Consolidated View:

• Australian Immunisation Register
• Immunisations
• Shared Health Summary
• Event Summary.

Australian Immunisation Register

Select Australian Immunisation Register to view all vaccine information for the patient that has been uploaded My Heath Record via the AIR. This view will display by default. If no immunisation information for the patient has been uploaded to the AIR, this link will not be available.

The Australian Immunisation Register view also displays when the next dose of a vaccine is due if applicable, and any additional immunisation-related information about the patient that has been uploaded to the AIR.

Immunisations

Select Immunisations to view vaccine information for the patient that has been uploaded to My Health Record via the AIR, as well as via Shared Health Summaries and Event Summaries. This view will display by default if no information has been uploaded to the AIR.

NOTE  If an immunisation has been uploaded to My Health Record via the AIR and via a shared Health Summary or Event Summary, it will be listed twice.

Shared Health Summary and Event Summary

Select either Shared Health Summary or Event Summary to view the patient's latest Shared Health Summary or Event Summary that contains immunisation information.
