Setting up SMS Reminders
SMS (or Text) reminders can be sent to a clients mobile phone number from myPractice. These can either be done manually or myPractice Live users can have automated reminders set-up. In either instance the following options need to be set-up as well as the SMS Reminder template. All SMS reminders are sent by SMS Global and users must have an SMS Global Account as well as a positive SMS Balance for this function to take place.

Practice used myPractice Scheduler
If this is ticked this means that the myPractice Scheduler is running automated SMS Reminders. Untick to edit the SMS Template if required and then re-tick one completed.
1: To be able to send replies to a registered email address then the Email Reminder details need to be filled out along with a number of other settings in SMS Global.
2: To be able to receive SMS replys then the Sender ID/Reply Number field above must be filled out with a valid mobile number e.g. 0480256789
There appears to be some phones / networks that do not receive the reply number correctly so not all clients maybe able to use this option and hence the reply number should be included in the reminder message.
3: To be able to Receive replies into myPractice:
the myPractice scheduler needs to be setup
the Incoming SMS Settings needs to be set in your SMS Global set-up. Use the link or the More Information about reply options link on the Options screen.
Click the link to go to SMS Global and create your account. You will need to buy credits from SMS Global to be able to send messages using their service.
