With the Appointment Book open
Double click on the appointment field
The Edit Appointment form will display
All fields within an appointment can be edited except for the the Apppointment Created and Appointment Created By fields.
Select the Appointment Type
Click on the radio button to change the appointment from a Client appointment to a Meeting
Use the drop down arrown to change the Client (or Meeting) selected

Consultation Type
Use the drop down arrow to change the Consultation Type

Referral
Use the drop down arrown to change the Referral
Click on the X to remove any referral associated by default. A client appointment does not have to be associated to a referral but will automatically associated if there is a referral ticked as a Current Referral.

The left most field is the Referrers Provider Number
The middle field is the nuumber of appointments this calendar year
The right field is the remaining number of appointments for the associated referral.

Start Time & End Time
Use the drop down arrows to change the values displayed.
Appointments can be moved around the calendar by dragging and dropping.

Reminder
Tick the tickbox to add a Reminder
Select the time prior to the appointment for the Reminder to display for the Practitioner

Practitioner, Location, Notes & Status
Use the drop down arrow to change the values displayed.
If the Practitioner is changed then the Location will change to the location setup for that Practitioner for the date and time in Practitioner Availability.
The Status field is set to Busy by default

Reminders
Tick the boxes as required.
Any defaults set on the client record will automatically be displayed

Recurrence button

Cancel an appointment
Tick the Cancelled box if the appointment/meeting has been cancelled.

The appointment will display in the Appointment Book in red (by default)
The Cancellation Reason drop down list will be displayed
Select the appropriate Cancellation Reason

The SMS and Email reminders are cancelled (if applicable) when an Appointment is cancelled. If the Appointment is re-instated, the Reminders are NOT.

The appointments Notes field stays available even when the Appointment is Cancelled to enable additional note to be added

OK button
Click Ok to save any changes made.

Click Cancel to discard any changes made.
