Search for Cervical Screening Results

This article describes how to search for Cervical Screening Results using the Last Recorded Screening Test date or by other search parameters such as screening method, HPV, LBC result or risk category in Bp Premier version Spectra SP1 or later.

Search for Cervical Screening Results using the Last Recorded Screening Test date

In Bp Premier version Spectra SP1, enhancements have been implemented in the Database Search for Cervical Screening. The search criteria for Last Screening has been updated to incorporate a single drop down menu, Last Screening Test Over:, which allows searches from 1 year to 10 years ago.

  1. Select Utilities > Search from the main menu to view the Database Search screen.

  2. Click Cervical Screening. The Search for Cervical Screening results screen will appear.

    3. Search for immunisations

  3. Set the Last Screening test over: parameter to the appropriate value for your search. The default option for Last Screening test over: will be 5 years ago. The Last Screening test over: can be searched from 1 to 10 years ago.

    4. NOTE  Last screening test over: is available in Bp Premier version Spectra SP1 or later.

  4. Click OK to return to the Database Search screen.
  5. Click Run query to see the results.

Search for Cervical Screening Results using other parameters

In Bp Premier version Spectra SP1, enhancements have been implemented in the Database Search for Cervical Screening. The search criteria for additional parameters have been updated to include the following:

  • HPV Test Only has been updated to HPV test/CST
  • When selecting HPV test/CST, the option for Cytology results will be replaced with LBC Results
  • A new search criterion, Risk Category, has been added
  • The search criteria for Performed By has been updated to include Self-collected by patient.
  1. Select Utilities > Search from the main menu to view the Database Search screen.

  2. Click Cervical Screening. The Search for Cervical Screening results screen will appear.

  3. Click Other.
  4. Complete the criteria you want to search for:
    • Screening method: Pap Smear or HPV Test/CST

      • TIP   If the Screening Method is set for HPV test/CST, the option for Cytology results will be replaced with LBC Results.

    • HPV
    • Cytology result
    • LBC Result
    • Endocervical cells
    • Pap Smear HPV
    • Risk Category

      • NOTE  Yet to be determined (Self-collected) is only available in Bp Premier version Spectra SP1 or later.

    • Performed by

      • NOTE  Self-collected by patient is only available in Bp Premier version Spectra SP1 or later.

    • Between a date range
  5. Click OK to return to the Database Search screen.
  6. Click Run query to see the results.
