Frequently asked questions about accounts

This article addresses some commonly asked questions about account workflows in Bp Premier.

How can I set up invoice text?

To create default text that can be inserted into invoice notes, from the Bp Premier home screen, select Setup > Configuration > Invoice notes > Add. Type your invoice note and click Save.

You will now be able to select your new invoice note via the button in the account details and account item screens.

How do I organise a refund to the head of family if the patient is a child?

Refunds to the head of family when the patient is a child are completed through Management > Patient billing history in the same way as a refund would normally be. The Head of family will be listed in the Bill to: column.

How do I set after hours fees for my practice?

To set after hours fees, you will need to create a custom fee schedule.

How can I check which staff member dealt with an account?

From the Bp Premier home screen, select Management > Patient Billing History and search for the patient. The person who recorded the invoice will be listed in the Recorded by column.

Where can I find the WorkCover fee schedules in Bp Premier?

WorkCover fee schedules are not distributed with Bp Premier. You must set up WorkCover schedules manually. For information on how to manually set up fee schedules, see Set up custom fees and schedules.
